My role involved coordinating the efforts of development, analytics, and implementation teams, working closely with business stakeholders from FUCHS to ensure we delivered Azure-based solutions that truly made a difference.
Here's a look at what I took on:
Strategic planning. I led the discovery phase, determineing the main issues with data management, analyzing the company's business processes, and setting clear KPIs and success measures.
Solution architecture. I teamed up with architects to outline the future IoT and BI platform's structure, and I was involved in choosing the right technology stack and cloud providers, primarily focusing on Microsoft Azure.
Development & integration management. I put together agile workflows, coordinated work across diverse teams - covering backend, frontend, mobile, data science, and QA - and oversaw the integration of IoT sensors and existing corporate systems.
Risk management & regional adaptation. I managed external contractors and internal teams to tackle infrastructure challenges and legal challenges, like customizing solutions for China that complied with local laws and cloud limitations.
CI/CD, quality, and security. I made sure we adopted modern continuous integration and deployment practices using tools like SonarQube and ESLint, while also maintaining strict adherence to security standards, including GDPR compliance.
Change management & stakeholder communication. I kept the business stakeholders in the loop through regular presentations, collected their feedback, and refined the solutions to match their developing needs.
Deployment and scaling. I led the successful launch of the platform in Eastern Europe and oversaw its expansion into China.

Building a unified ERP and IoT platform that provides real-time analytics and supports predictive maintenance.
